These are not merely plays about Jewish people. They are plays about being Jewish in today’s world, with comedy that springs from the traditions of Jewishness.

The plays are written for uncomplicated production, with small casts — two, three or four actors — and easy staging requirements. Two or three of the plays can be presented together, for a full and cohesive evening of theatre.

Two of these comedies feature the same protagonist — the hapless Arthur Kleinman — making them ideal for a double bill.
